Alliance To Take Back eBay! (ATTBE)
| Contact ATTBE |
Our intent is to obtain the largest possible advertisement in the Wall Street Journal to list our grievances, call for the resignation of John Donahoe and installation of a management team that includes people with first hand selling experience.
On-line selling has been around for many years now. There are ample candidates for senior management who have real-life experience. (Hospitals have doctors on the management team. eBay should have sellers!) We need to let the financial community know that we are serious about a say in the company in return for the sweat equity we have all contributed.
We ask for your support by pledging money to finance the ad and by contributing your experience and expertise to help formalize our plan. More information about this project is available here. There is a FAQ and a discussion board. Here are even more ideas of things you can do to help.
Make your pledge by filling out the form above. Refer to the notes below for more information about each field.¹ Email Address: Please check for accuracy. The system will generate a confirmation email to thank you for your pledge and confirm the authenticity.
² Your name: Please provide your real name. If you do not want your name to be visible in the public talley, check the form and your pledge will be reported as Anonymous.
³ Amount of pledge and duration: Please consider your pledge carefully. Your ability to follow through with the pledged funds at the appropriate time is far more important than the amount. Once we find someone to act as our fiduciary, it will be important to make it easy for them to collect our pledges into real funds! Set a duration if your pledge will expire in the future. This will allow the talley report to drop uncollectable pledges from the total for planning.
This is a sound idea which will have a positive impact on the situation with eBay. Please respect your fellow sellers who have committed to this project and help us out with an appropriate pledge based on your eBay income. (click the X to dismiss this message)
